Federal law requires that each school district review and/or update their wellness policy on an annual basis. Every public school academy, such as ours, is considered its own district. Please take a few moments to review the policy below and provide your input either as a comment, or you can email your input to Kathy Hayes. Be sure to indicate the school name in the email. The deadline for parent community feedback is Friday, December 9, 2011.

These guides provide an overview of what you can expect your child will learn by the end of the year in mathematics and English language arts/literacy. The guides focus on the key skills your child will learn in these subjects, which will build a strong foundation for success in other subjects he or she studies throughout the school year. The grade level guides are based on the new Common Core State Standards which have been adopted by the state of Ohio.
