Curriculum
Course of Study – Grades K-6
Lake Erie elementary program follows the academic content standards (ACS) and grade level indicators (GLI) approved by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). Students are required to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to read, write, compute, problem solve, think critically, apply technology, and communicate across all subject areas.
Special Education
Students receiving special education services follow the Ohio ACS and GLI as the basis for their educational program. The Student Support Team (SST) may recommend changes in standard curricular expectations, content modifications, format modifications and grading guidelines.
